本題に関して
太田氏が描く将来あるべき日本に納得しやすいのではないか、ということです
伝聞なので、印象程度のことしか述べられませんがアメリカナイズされた人とそうでない人との間に相当軋轢があったようです。現状の日本に不満を持っている点で、太田氏の主張が起爆剤になり得るのではないかと考えた次第です。

伝聞の経緯は、身内の進学路の選択に関連して、大学の友人に話を聞いたものです。
指摘の個所については、グチとして聞いて印象に残っていたので付け加えた蛇足です

ここは伝聞と自分の経験を混ぜてしまってました。
ミドルスクールに関する所は私の経験したことです。

水分補給を禁止する行為はアメリカでも例外的にやる。
一時的通過儀礼として、また部員の振り落としのため特にアメフトでやっていたよう記憶してます。
もっとも米国で最近その通過儀礼が生徒の死亡につながったのではないかと大きな問題になりました。
