–戦前の日本観について–
　もしお時間があれば、戦前の日本がいかに「正常」な「民主主義」国であり「立憲君主国」であったかについて突っ込んだコラムを是非とも太田さんに書いて頂きたいのですが。
　太田さんは折にふれて（軍部独裁のファシズムという類の）戦前の日本観は誤りであると繰り返し述べられてますが、いずれも本や書評への反論が主なため、（ファシズムと言えないとしても、何故「正常」だったと言えるのかの部分の）主張がやや弱いという印象を受けてしまいます・・。
＜太田＞
　実は、『防衛庁再生宣言』140～147で詳述しており、このコラム上での戦前の日本の自由民主主義性についての記述は、すべてこのもともとの記述の補足にほかならないのです。
　次著では、このもともとの記述を再録したいと考えているので、Chaseさん、よろしくお願いします。

　一人題名のない音楽会の「ロシアとウクライナ」の第四弾、最終回です。
　ようやく、ウクライナにたどり着きました。
　以下、お聴きになると分かりますが、ウクライナの曲は、田園的で素朴であり、明るいものも多く、かつ、ウクライナという言葉が登場する歌詞が多い、という印象です。
　いい歌だと思ったので二人の歌手による歌唱をとりあげましたが、この二人の女性、ロシア篇で登場した女性歌手達と雰囲気がひと味違うと思いませんか？　特に、後者の健康的で素朴な美人、大地の香りがするなあ。

　結論的には、（これらの歌がウクライナ東部とクリミア半島でも大人気なのかどうかまでは分かりませんが、）ウクライナはロシアとは明確に異なる存在であることが実感できました。
　オレンジ革命が終焉を迎えようとどうしようと、ウクライナがロシアと再統合する可能性は、当分の間、皆無でしょうね。
