　今回のは、「2007年イギリス映画＜で、＞ジェーン・オースティン最後の小説「説得」を映画化＜したもので、＞周りの説得に応じて愛する人と別れてしまったことを後悔し続けた女性が、８年経ってようやく愛を実らせるまでを描いたラブ・ロマンス＜であって、＞監督：エイドリアン・シェアゴールド　出演：サリー・ホーキンス、ルパート・ペンリー＝ジョーンズ、・・・ほか」

　一昔前の少女恋愛マンガの実写、的な印象。
　主演女優のサリー・ホーキンス（Sally Cecilia Hawkins。1976年～）は、王立演劇学校卒でまだ独身のイギリス人で、「ゴールデングローブ賞、ベルリン国際映画祭での銀熊賞（主演女優賞）をはじめ、クリティクス・チョイス・スーパー・アワード、映画俳優組合賞、アカデミー賞で２部門、英国アカデミー賞の映画賞２部門でノミネートされるなど、数々の賞を受賞して」おり、『シェイプ・オブ・ウォーター』・・TVで鑑賞した記憶はあるのだが、太田コラムで紹介したことはなさそう・・でも主演している。
