　お久しぶりです。
　太田様のブログ、社会人になった今も仕事の合間に楽しく拝見しています。
　海関係の仕事をしていると、日本人は本当に国外に興味がないのだとよく痛感します 。（例えば、日本人船乗りの少なさ等でです）
　日本は「海洋国家」ではなく、「海洋依存国家」なのかもしれません。
　先日、仕事の関係で、ソマリアで海賊対処中の海上自衛隊の艦艇を見る機会に恵まれました。
　日章旗をアデン湾沖に堂々と靡かせながら、船団護衛している姿を見て、感動しました。
　海賊対処に当たっている他の海軍の方も、「日本海軍」が来たおかげで、相当助かっていると言っていたのを覚えています。
　海外では、こんなに「日本海軍」は尊敬されているのに、政府を筆頭とした日本国民は無関心さはひどいですね。
　日本国民は早く目を覚ましてほしいといったところです。

　「・・・今年のノーベル化学賞が２人の日本人に授与されることをニュースで知って悔しがったのは中国国民だった。折しも、尖閣諸島の領有権を巡る日中両国間の緊張が高まり、中国国民に反日のナショナリズムが高揚している時期でもあり、“小日本（日本に対する蔑称）”の“日本鬼子（日本人に対する蔑称）”がノーベル賞を受賞するというのに、中国人のノーベル賞受賞者がいないとは何ごとだという思いが募ったのである。このため中国のネット掲示板には、全国のネットユーザーたちから「国家成立から61年目の中国にノーベル賞の受賞者がいないとはどういうことだ。この情けない状況について、関係当局は全国国民に謝罪しろ」といった趣旨の書き込みが殺到したのである。・・・
　学問の自由が保障されている民主主義の先進国には“創新（イノベーション）”が生まれる余地は十分にあるが、中国共産党一党独裁の下で丸暗記教育が行われている中国ではその可能性は極めて小さい。・・・
